He has acted for Financial Institutions, Resolution Professionals, Bidders, Resolution Applicants, Bondholders and Distressed Debt Funds in pre-IBC resolutions, CIRP process and liquidations. He has advised leading Project Developers, EPC Contractors, Investors and Lenders in relation to acquisition of infrastructure projects and cross border investments.

Before joining Phoenix Legal, he worked with Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India, AZB Partners, Cyril Amarchand & Mangaldas, as partner, and Allen & Overy LLP (London) and Amarchand & Mangaldas as associate.   • Advised Resolution Applicants/bidders on resolution plan/liquidation for GVK Power (Goindwal Sahib) Limited, McNally Bharat Engineering Company Limited, SKS Power Generation (Chhattisgarh) Limited, Lanco Amarkantak Power Limited, Lanco Kondapalli Power Limited, EPC Constructions India Limited, McNally Sayaji Engineering Limited, VOVL and Ruchi Soya.
  • Advised the Committee of Creditors on the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) for some of the largest insolvencies including Reliance Capital Limited, Bhushan Power and Steel Limited, Monnet Ispat and Energy Limited and Deccan Chronicles Holding Limited.
  • Advised Resolution Professionals on complex CIRP deals across sectors including Sintex-BAPL Limited, Indo Global Soft Solutions, Jhabua Power Limited, Punj Lloyd Limited, Educomp Infrastructure Solutions and Marketing Limited and Cox and Kings Limited.
  • Advised China Aircraft Leasing and Avenue Capital on acquisition of two aircrafts being operated by an Indian airline.
  • Advised strategic and financial investors in acquisition of various assets including their proposed bids for Macquarie Group, IL&FS Tamil Nadu Power Company Limited and so on.
  • Acted as legal counsel for House of Abhinandan Lodha in respect of setting up and funding an INR 15 billion (USD180 million) joint venture with HDFC Capital Affordable Real Estate Fund.
  • Advised on various project finance deals including JSW Renew Energy Two Limited, KSK Mahanadi Power Company Limited, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited and so on.
