Mrinal Ojha specialises in commercial dispute resolution (litigation/arbitration/ADR). His areas of focus are construction and engineering, cross-border contractual disputes, energy, insurance and reinsurance, media and aviation law.

He regularly appears before the various High Courts and Supreme Court of India, besides other regulatory bodies and tribunals. He handles ad hoc and institutional domestic and international commercial arbitrations and mediations involving disputes in several jurisdictions. He represents both Indian and foreign clients in a variety of high-value, complex and fact-intensive disputes.

He has also acted as a coverage or monitoring counsel for Indian and overseas insurers on a whole host of intricate liability issues. Where there is no coverage issue or conflict, he also acts as defence counsel for insured at the behest of insurers/reinsurers controlling the claim.

He regularly speaks on a wide range of legal issues mainly arbitrations, mediations, white collar crimes and insurance/reinsurance and has spoken at fora such as the Bombay Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the Indian Merchant Chambers and the National Insurance Academy, India, the Mumbai Court of International Arbitration, the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, the Society of Women Lawyers – India, GAR Live Singapore, Corporate Counsel Forum Singapore, Japan Institute for Overseas Investment, and seminars organised by the OP Jindal Global University.
